Ingredients
- 24 oz package of hash browns, thawed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 cups shredded cheese (any kind)
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup half and half
- 3 eggs
- salt/pepper to taste
- optional: mushrooms, broccoli, onion or other vegetables
Directions
- Press thawed hash browns between paper towels to remove moisture
- Put hash browns into greased 10 inch pie plate to form a crust
- Brush with butter and bake at 425°F for 25 minutes
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese, all of the ham, and any additional toppings on top of the crust
- In a bowl beat half and half, and eggs together, then pour over ham and cheese
- Top with remaining cheese and then bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes at 350°F
