Pot Roast

Yields 3-4 pounds; Make gravy if desired

Ingredients

  • 1 round bone roast
  • 2 or 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • onion
  • 1 cup water
  • peeled potatoes
  • carrots

Directions

  1. Brown roast by patting on a small amount of flour
  2. Add onion, beef bouillon and cup of water
  3. Cover and cook 2 1/2 -3 hours until done
  4. Add potatoes an hour before meat is done
